Hemostop – A paste with iodoform for wound treatment after tooth extraction. This is a non-resorbable paste that is applied after tooth extraction with complications and acute alveolitis. It has a strong and prolonged analgesic effect.
It quickly stops bleeding and promotes the rapid formation of a blood clot that stops bleeding. Helps in fast wound healing. It does not injure the mucous membrane of the mouth. Iodoform is an antiseptic paste and provides an antibacterial effect in the wound. Lidocaine relieves pain. The calcium in the paste promotes the formation of the primary osteoid in the cavity.
